I obtained my first real estate skills in 2008 when I started working at a large rental agency in the centre of Amsterdam. With a TomTom on my scooter, because as a girl from a small village, I would completely get lost without navigation (with navigation as well, but that's another story).
Now thirteen years later, I know the city like the back of my hand. I certainly don't ride a scooter anymore (because, as a real estate agent, you really can't show up on one).
After having had a very good learning experience at the high-end office in Amsterdam (D.S.T.R.CT.), I briefly worked as a freelancer with my friends from Cocq Makelaars. GREAT fun, but I soon came to the conclusion that I want to completely do it my own way.
As far as I'm concerned, the real estate industry could be a bit less slick or old-fashioned and more innovative. So that's what I did. In 2017 I founded RKZ Real Estate: a modern real estate agency that continuously adapts, designed for the housing market of tomorrow.
My mission has not gone unnoticed, as we now have a great team of twelve world-class people. In addition to the two offices in Amsterdam, we are also located in Weesp, Noordwijk, Utrecht, Haarlem, Het Gooi and Amstelveen.
I combine my passion for real estate, styling and entrepreneurship with my background in online marketing and communication. That makes me a modern realtor. Which, not coincidentally, is the slogan of my company: RKZ Real Estate.
With my enthusiasm, knowledge, good network and hands-on mentality, I make every assignment a success. I believe problems are there to be solved and 'no' or 'impossible' are not part of my vocabulary.
